What this delivery man did deserves a medal 🙏
Pets often become the soul of the home, becoming the favorite member of each family. Unfortunately, not all people think this way and there are those who even have no qualms about abandoning their animals in order not to continue taking care of them. Just like what happened to Thor the day he was abandoned on the road.
Eduardo Rodrigos Dos Santos is originally from Apucarana, in Brazil and has been dedicating himself to delivering fast food on his motorcycle for more than 10 years. At that time he had seen all kinds of things on the streets. But he had never encountered human cruelty itself, until he saw the abandonment of a cute little dog. While he was heading down the road to deliver a customer’s food. He saw the car in front of him stop abruptly. The driver opened the door and pushed a little dog. He then sped up so the dog wouldn’t catch up with him as the pet tried to run after the car.
“The guy threw the dog, closed the door and left. I got off the motorcycle and saw the dog running after the car, in the middle of the highway. I stopped the motorcycle with the delivery and everything, I picked it up and said: ‘You are not going to die run over, let’s go comrade,'” said Eduardo Rodrigos Dos Santos.
Eduardo stopped by not caring that the order got cold and was late at the customer’s hands. The delivery man picked up the dog and took it on his motorcycle. 3 long days passed, and as expected, no one claimed the puppy. Heartbroken by the cruel form of abandonment, Eduardo made the decision to adopt him and call him Thor. «They talk about peace, about changing the world. But improvement begins at home, within the heart. If you don’t have love, nothing goes on,” said the young man. The delivery man had a dog since before he was waiting for him at home. Therefore today Thor not only gained an owner who loves and cares for him. But he also has a new furry friend.
He shared with his friends and family this story of abandonment. So that they see the cruelty that some innocent animals have to endure. But luckily there are some people with a good heart and they save those they can.
